Azra is a trained Balkan Diskurs correspondent with many years of experience in the non-governmental sector. She is a medical student at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Tuzla and a project coordinator in the organization BRAVO BiH, where she works on the implementation of projects within Erasmus+ and other programs of the European Commission. Children’s rights and the inclusion of people with developmental disabilities fall within her narrower field of interest. In Tuzla, she runs the After School Program (a project of the Bosana Foundation), which focuses on the education and support of children from the Home for Children Without Parental Care. She is also the founder of the MedConnect internship program for medical students, which is focused on early intervention and detection of developmental disorders.
